Employer-led worker nominations and a separate business program
Yukon’s worker program uses scheduled EOI windows, while the Yukon Business Nominee Program assesses foreign entrepreneurs separately.
Program overview
The Yukon Nominee Program is employer-driven: the employer submits the EOI and, if invited, the full application for the foreign worker. The 2026 worker program has Skilled Worker, Critical Impact Worker and Express Entry streams.
Foreign entrepreneurs use the separate Yukon Business Nominee Program, which includes a scored pool, business-plan review, work-permit stage and performance requirements before permanent residence support.

Skilled Worker
For eligible TEER 0–3 positions with a qualifying Yukon employer.2026 EOI closed
The worker generally needs relevant experience, language, education and a guaranteed full-time job offer; the employer submits the case.
Critical Impact Worker
For eligible TEER 4–5 positions with a qualifying Yukon employer.2026 EOI closed
The program requires relevant work experience, language, employer recruitment and a guaranteed full-time job offer.
Yukon Express Entry
For federal Express Entry candidates supported by a Yukon employer.2026 EOI closed
The worker must qualify for a federal Express Entry program and meet the Yukon employer-driven requirements.
Yukon Business Nominee Program
For foreign entrepreneurs establishing or purchasing an eligible strategic-sector business.Separate business program
Candidates need at least 65 assessment points and must meet the experience, net-worth, liquid-asset, investment and business-sector requirements.
Yukon Community Program
A former employer-sharing pilot that expired in June 2025.Not current
