Program overview
NBPNP candidates submit an expression of interest under a suitable stream. New Brunswick selects candidates according to labour-market needs, available allocation and provincial priorities rather than first-come, first-served order.
A stream may include more than one pathway, and the province uses the EOI questionnaire to identify which pathways may apply.

September 2026 Position
Atlantic Immigration Program access expanded for accommodation and food services
Effective September 14, 2026, Immigration New Brunswick removed its Atlantic Immigration Program sector restriction for Accommodation and Food Services (NAICS 72). Positions in this sector may now be eligible for an AIP endorsement application unless the occupation remains on New Brunswick’s restricted NOC list. Restricted occupations still include restaurant and food service managers (NOC 60030), food service supervisors (NOC 62020), retail sales supervisors (NOC 62010), retail salespersons and visual merchandisers (NOC 64100), and several other listed occupations. Separate restrictions also apply to certain candidates residing outside Canada, so the current provincial notice must be checked before an endorsement application is submitted.
